About Me
Hi! I’m Kirstin and I’m a Registered Dietitian and board-certified Specialist in Pediatric Nutrition. I have worked with children with feeding tubes since 2017 in a variety of settings, from NICU to home infusion to outpatient specialty clinics and virtually around the globe.
I’ve supported families through some of the most stressful and emotional parts of feeding, and I know how overwhelming it can feel when eating doesn’t come easily.
My approach is practical, responsive, and rooted in trust. No pressure, no one-size-fits-all plans—just thoughtful, individualized support for your child and your family.
When I’m not nerding out over nutrition things, I can be found reading, baking a new sourdough recipe, and chasing my two boys around. Oh and (avoiding) folding laundry. Why is there so much laundry?!

I have always been drawn to working with children. Growing up, I enjoyed babysitting, and I spent my summers working as a camp counselor. My first job as a dietitian was working in a rural hospital in Arizona, which taught me that everyone has different needs, different access, and different goals. It also taught me that I don’t love adult nutrition, which led me to my first job in a pediatric obesity clinic. When a new opportunity took me from Arizona to Washington, I then started working in pediatric home infusion—the dream job I never knew I needed! It was here that I was first exposed to pediatric home tube feeding, and tube weaning! It also led me to working with Growing Independent Eaters (GIE), where I further honed my craft with the art of tube weaning. When GIE started talking about closing their doors, I knew I had to continue helping families find their way to oral eating, and Born to Eat was (oh man…) born!
